Paula Faris
Paula Faris, an American journalist, previously worked as a television correspondent at ABC News. Her stints as co-anchor of Good Morning America Weekend (2014-2018) and co-host on The View (2015-2018) are popular. Prior to this, she hosted World News Now and America This Morning. After graduating, she worked in several communications-related jobs including an operations position at Mills/James Productions in Columbus, Ohio. She held a job in sales for radio, due to the lack of television opportunities. Then she was able to work for an entire year as a production assistant for WKEF/WRGT. Later, she would occasionally anchor and report. She was the weekend anchor at WCPO TV in Cincinnati, and the anchor for weekdays at WCPO TV in Cincinnati from 2002 to 2005. She became a sports reporter for the NBC's Chicago affiliate WMAQ-TV from November 2005 until December 2011, when her contract was terminated. In December 2011 she was recruited by ABC News the news division of ABC. On January 2, 2012, she made her debut on ABC's World News Now and America This Morning. At times, she played a role as a fill-in on Good Morning America as well as being a correspondent. In the future, she was promoted to a reporter based in New York for the entire ABC News programs. She was unable to be able to make it to the final show of World News Now or America This Morning. It was on January 22 the 22nd of January 2013. Her debut was on Good Morning America Weekend as co-anchor, the 9th of August, 2014. This was following Bianna Golodryga was transferred to Yahoo! News. News. The contract was renewed by ABC to run its 20th season on the 3rd of August. Season 21 was also the first season she was renewed as cohost. During the series' 22nd and 21st seasons, she mostly appeared during the series' Friday-night episodes.
