She was an actress and began her career by assuming minor roles as well as appearing in guest characters on stage and television shows. One of her first major parts in her acting career was on the soap opera As the World Turns. It featured medical and legal experts. Later on she was referred to for her role as Jenny Griffith from the legal drama Suits. Harvey Specter a legal expert and Mike the assistant of his solved the cases on this show. It received great reviews and was also awarded multiple Awards. Other works by her include Blue Bloods, a police drama. Most reviews were positive. Ray played a part in a range of movies like the musical comedy The Rumperbutts and the drama Not Waving But Drowning. In both, she played the lead. Taylor Cole made her mark in the latter part of 2000 with a co-starring part on the dramatic show Summerland that led to numerous single-episode roles in a series of Heroes as the character teleporting Rachel Mills and an integral part in the action flick 12 Rounds.
