Emily Swallow

American actor Emily Swallow, born December 18 1979. She is most well-known for her role in the role of Kim Fischer on The Mentalist and as Amara the Darkness in the eleventh season of Supernatural. She also played the Armorer in Star Wars' live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily played part in a minor role on The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born on 18 December, 1979, in Washington, D.C. Her family grew up in Sterling, Virginia, as also in Jacksonville, Florida. Swallow started acting in Stanton College Preparatory School. She also performed in professional and amateur productions of theatre. Swallow graduated from Stanton College's Preparatory School located in Jacksonville in 2001. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies. She then continued her studies for an MFA in Acting at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In 2008 she made her film debut in The Lucky Ones, a military drama. She starred in world premieres of Donald Margulies' play The Country House at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse and was paired with Mark Rylance in Louis Jenkins' production of Nice Fish at the Guthrie Theatre, and in John Patrick Shanley's musical Romantic Poetry at Manhattan Theater Club. In the year 2010 she was awarded the Falstaff Award as best female performer for her role in The Taming of the Shrew. She also performed with Jac Huberman in Jac N Swallow's musical, Romantic Poetry at the Manhattan Theatre Club. The show revolves around their hilarious mishaps as they deal with very diverse life circumstances.
